Scope and Contents
Opening in November 1931, this art deco ten story hotel was designed by A.S. Graven, Chicago. Originally it boasted 200 rooms and 50 apartments. It eventually became an apartment building. In 2004 it was purchased by the City of Davenport, renovated and reopened with 56 new apartments in 2007.
