Scope and Contents
Originally built in 1878 as the Burtis-Kimball House this hotel was completely remodeled in 1907-08. It reopened Feb. 1, 1908 as the "New Kimball Hotel". Transformed into apartments in 1917 and later known as "Perry Apartments", then "Vale Apartments", it became structurally unsafe and was razed in 1993.

Tall lamps with globes line the sidewalk. Publisher code 13197 appears lower right corner. Portions of buildings are visible in the background.
