Biographical / Historical

Arthur R. Dismer was born Jan. 7, 1914 in Davenport, Iowa to Fred and Katherine Dismer. He married Edith Hofeldt in 1935. At the time of his World War II draft registration he was working at the Rock Island Arsenal. About the time he logged in this book he started working as a machinist at International Harvester, Farmall Works, Rock Island. Dismer died in Rock Island, IL Sunday April 11, 1999.
