Biographical / Historical
Don Cooper Bowers was born May 19, 1925 in Davenport, IA, son of Cecil and Willa Bowers. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and an Alcoa employee for over 42 years as an electrician. He was an amateur ham radio enthusiast and golfer. He was the older brother to Kent Bowers by 11 years.
