Scope and Contents
The donor's father apparently created original movies of the Scott County courthouse demolition and the State Furniture store fire in 1955 which he then digitized.
Photographs have very little information. Below are the file names and a brief description.

Pertaining to MEADLEY:
Information from Davenport Daily Leader, Thursday, July 2, 1896
Mary E. Meadley died at her home 1435 Marshall street after a lingering illness. Mrs. Meadley was born at Clarion, Clarion county, PA June 8, 1836, from which place she with her parents moved west to St. Louis in 1844. The family settled in Edwardsville, Ill., where she on Dec. 19th 1855 was united in marriage to J. B. Meadley. Four years later they came to Davenport and continued to reside here.
Of seven children only two survive, E. E. Meadley, and Mrs. H. A. Havens both of this city, and one brother Capt. W. L. Boyd of McKinney, Texas.
Her husband was Jabez Bunton Meadley (1822-1902). Both are buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport, IA.
