Scott County, Iowa Dissolutions and Probates
Scope and Contents
These ledgers were released by the State of Iowa, Office of Clerk of District Court for Scott and Cedar Counties.
The Iowa district court has general jurisdiction of all civil, criminal and juvenile cases and probate matters in the state. The district court, which is also known as the trial court, is the point of entry in the court system for most cases.
These particular documents are for divorce and probate cases and include appearance dockets, judgment books and one complete index of district court.
The volumes were digitized by the donor prior to releasing them. They also shared the electronic files which include indexes.
