Cecil Fletcher cassette collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains two audio cassette tapes. The first is called "Songs From Buffalo Bill Ground" published in 1992 including ten songs and "Seasonal Joy at Nap-Sin-Ekee and Julie the Belle of the River" published in 1993. The tapes have never been removed from cellophane wrappers.

Biographical / Historical
Cecil L. Fletcher (1918-2002) was a lifelong resident of LeClaire, Iowa, a well-known historian, musician, author and ardent admirer of Buffalo Bill Cody. Son of John W. and Lena Mae (Helble) Fletcher, he attended rural Scott County schools and attended Rodheaver School of Music in Winona Lake, IN. He recorded two music albums and several history tapes. He built a wayside chapel at his home in Nap-Sim-Ekee Hollow.
