Scope and Contents
This is a set of sixteen original depositions related to District Court cases in the 1860s. Most of the documents have been microfilmed with the rest of the papers and are available for viewing in the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center. Two sources were used to double check the names and case numbers involved: District Court Calendar Scott County IA [SC 977.769 DIS] and Numberical Index of District Court Cases Found on Microfilm 1857-1898 [SC 977.769 SCO].
