This collection consists of a 1944 commencement announcement for Davenport High School, two name cards for Hope Swarzendruber and an envelope that was mailed to Wayne Cokayne, Winfield, Iowa with a 3 cent Victory Stamp.

Biographical / Historical
Hope Louise Swartzendruber was the second child born to Joseph Earl and Dot Marie Swartzendruber. She joined their family on December 22, 1925, grew up in Davenport and attended Davenport High School. She married Warren Cockayne on March 17, 1946. The couple had two children. Hope died in Winfield, Henry County, Iowa May 4, 2018.
