Scott County, Iowa District Court Case Documentation Collection
Scope and Contents
This is a mixed collection of items from court cases held in the District Court of Scott County, Iowa. Many cases involved people who did not live in the county, so depositions were required. Additionally there are receipts on letterheads from local business establishments and some insurance policies. Some case numbers could be determined but there is no way to know if all documents from the case survived.

Personal digital cameras and scanners are allowed in the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center on a case-by-case basis. The items that a researcher may want to scan or photograph must be examined and evaluated for physical condition, copyright issues, and donor restrictions by staff.
