Biographical / Historical
Edward Tapley Langwith (1855 - 1934) was married in Scott County, Iowa in 1882 to Anna M. Logan. Together they had eight children, seven of whom survived to adulthood. Langwith operated a general store at Jamestown, Iowa for 25 years, approximately 1880-1905. He then traveled as a salesman before associating with his son, Warren, in the used automobile business in Davenport.
