Biographical / Historical

Peter Perry was a resident of Whitby Township, York County, Canada at the time his probate papers were filed in Scott County Iowa in 1852. It appears Perry was a land speculator and purchased ground in both Muscatine and Scott Counties in Iowa, using Ebenezer Cook as liason.

William P. Earl(e) is living in Erie County, New York in 1841 when according to the U.S. General Land Office Records he received patents described as these same tracts of land.

Efforts to identify others named have not been undertaken.
