German American Heritage Center (GAHC) Collections
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of items that were not appropriate for the GAHC collection but were offered to ours. Included are two panoramic photographs of Brown's Business College groups, likely graduates, in 1914 by Hostetler and another that is undated but likely from the same time frame. A ca 1900 cabinet card featuring a young couple wearing clothing that might be considered a traditional costume for an immigrant taken by the Jarvis White Art Co.... is included.
Additionally a copy of the Iowa Reforms" anniversary publication 1884-1909 with both English and German text can be found. It is a duplicate of the cataloged SC OVERSIZE 070 JAH Shelf location Closed Stacks.
A 1976 paperback book written in the German language pertaining to the Rosswalden family is also part of this collection.
