Scope and Contents

2023-74a Eulalia Doyle was a WAVE during World War II. This donation includes her uniform and hat covering for inclement weather. She had intended for her hat to be included, but was not able to bring it in.

Also found in the collection is an 8x10 black and white photographic print showing a group, including Eulalia, marching on a street all in uniform. Eulalia is the woman on the left in the image.

Some posters from a calendar featuring WWII images are also included.

2023-74b is made up of photocopies of WWII era correspondence between members of the Belouski family. Letters written to Edward Belouski from Roy and Harold Belouski while they were serving in the military. There is also one photocpied scrapbook page. Original correspondence was donated to the Colona, IL Library per donor.

2023-74c is a brief memoir of a Korean War veteran.
