Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a wedding photograph album of Gertrude Walsh and Eugene Joseph Halligan and metal bound scrapbook of newspaper clippings and photographs of the Walsh and Halligan families. The wedding album photographs were taken by J.B. Hostetler. The scrapbook was created by Gertrude Halligan.

Biographical / Historical

Gertrude Walsh, daughter of Patrick Thomas Walsh and Mrs. Walsh of 910 Marquette Street. Eugene Joseph Halligan, son of T. F. Halligan and wife of 1028 Mississippi Avenue. Eugene was the vice president of the Halligan Coffee Company at the time of their marrige on October 29, 1921.
