Scope and Contents

Eight sheets of correspondence to Magnus Johnson of Bishop Hill, IL which appear to be receipts dated 1854-1868. Several mention collars, two are from saddlery hardware, leather stores all in Illinois.

Additionally, one mimeographed letter addressed to Willie L. Atto [sic]] of Cambridge IL and four duplicate 2.5 x 6" prints of vehicle with tag line "Has stood the test of the Cold Northwest" across the side panel. Prints in brown envelope labeled "Willis Otto" with return address of C.V. Roberts Photographer Cambridge, Illinois. The tag line was patented for Oil-Elec-Tric Corp. in April 1919 for oil burners.
