Biographical / Historical
Mrs. Gertrude R. Morgan (1903-1995) is listed as a teacher at Taylor School in the 1955 Davenport city directory. According to her obituary, Gertrude ROTH married Ralph MORGAN in 1944. She graduated from Augustana and the University of Iowa and worked in the Davenport schools as a music supervisor and was a professor at Augustana College. She was involved for many years with the Quad-City Symphony Orchestra.
