Iowa school laws booklets for 1855 and 1864

1885 diary measuring 7.5x3.25"; beige leather cover; handwritten entries on Jan 1-Mar 21, Jun 12-23, Sep 18-Dec 31 pertaining to family trip to Europe including England, France and Italy. Author speaks of wife, daughter Josie who is a student at St. Katharines' School, Ella (possibly Davison, daughter of Abner), Son Fred, Frank, Bishop Cosgrove, Mrs. Merriman, Cook and Dodge; Several addresses also entered.
