Mary Moore papers
Scope and Contents
Miss Mary Moore created unique linens for churches all over the world. There are images of her in the Hostetler/Free photograph collection. This collection also contains a speech given by her mother, Mrs. William Moore, sharing her memories of the start of the Davenport Women's Club in 1910. Mrs. Moore was a charter member. There are newspaper clippings from both Iowa and Illinois newspapers, a postcard showing an example of a linen napkin, and other mementos pertaining to both Miss Mary and her mother.
