Ladies Industrial Relief Society Records
Scope and Contents
Records of the Ladies Industrial Relief Society and successor organizations date from the late 1880's to the 1980's. The collection includes by-laws and constitutions, financial records, annual reports, reports of the nursery, laundry and outdoor relief programs, meeting minutes journals, photos, scrapbooks, histories, diaries of Sophie Toller and reports of Friendly Visitors. This organization was later known as Family and Children's Services, then became Family Resources, Inc.
