Historic Items from Davenport city departments

 Collection
Identifier: 2008-28

Scope and Contents

It was determined by archivist Amy Groskopf that several accessions should be combined to form one open accession of historic materials that originated from the city of Davenport’s Community Planning and Economic Development Department (CPED), Community and Economic Development Department (CED), Community Development Department (CDD), and/or the city’s Historic Preservation Commission. These accessions came from the same department (albeit known by different names during different eras). They are all considered to have the same basic provenance and are to be considered part of the City of Davenport’s Archives, assigned the accession number #2008-28 in the Archives & Manuscript Collection.

Original accession numbers will remain on materials that are already processed. However, as a whole all items are considered to be part of OPEN ACCESSION #2008-28.

Anything new that arrives and is determined to have originated from this department will be added to the OPEN ACCESSION #2008-28 using that number.

This collection is made up of the following series: 2000-15; 2008-06; 2008-12; 2008-13; 2008-27; and items original to 2008-28.
