Biographical / Historical
Magdalena Salome Bauder was born December 1873 in Buffalo, Iowa. She married Edwin H. Clement on 9 September 1903 and had one daughter, Ruth. They lived in Rock Island, Illinois in the 1910-1940 census records. Mrs. Clement died in December 1965 leaving daughter Ruth and three nieces, Clara (Lorenz) Grosskopf, Ella Lorenz, and Della Bauder as survivors. She is buried in Rock Island's Memorial Park Cemetery.
Clara B. Appelquist was born in 1891 and lived to be 101 years old, passing away in January 1993. She was secretary and bookeeper to the manager of Crane Plumbing Company (Davenport, Iowa) for 40 years, retiring in 1953. She married Morton R. Carlson in 1948.
