Scope and Contents

Two J.B. Hostetler prints of unidentified musical band ca1928-31 in which donor identifies Edwin Henry Pries playing the "susaphone" and speculates it may be at the Outing Club. Donor also notes Edwin Pries was friends with Beiderbecke family. Verso states "2 in 1 4897".

One oversize print of monument erected by Kampfgenossen Verein society in 1907 in Washington Square honoring 1870-71 Franco-German War Veterans. Photography by J.M. Lenz. Donor identifies fourth man from left in front row, seated, as his maternal grandfather Adolf Groth.
