Scope and Contents

This is a copy of a booklet compiling survey results on African-Americans in the local area done by St. Ambrose College students as an assignment for instructor Father William O'Connor. A door to door survey done in 1947 was the source of the information. The booklet was published and made available to the public in November 1951.
