Original prints hung in 4th Street Fire Station. During 2016 remodel of facility images were removed, duplicated, and framed copies were returned. SC kept originals and duplicates as well as digitized versions from Boyd Fitzgerald Imaging Solutions, as is and adjusted. Amy Driskill, City Archivist, spearheaded this project.

Personal digital cameras and scanners are allowed in the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center on a case-by-case basis. The items that a researcher may want to scan or photograph must be examined and evaluated for physical condition, copyright issues, and donor restrictions by staff.
