Biographical / Historical

These materials are from the collection of Kambach and Kettman, once the largest leather goods supply company in Iowa. Founded by John Kambach Jr. and George B. Kettman in 1919 it was sold in 2000 by sons John and Bernard Kettman. The business was located at various addresses over the years includeing 315 West Third Street, 215 West Third Street and 318 West Second Street in Davenport, Iowa. A typed two-page history of the company is included in the scans.
