Biographical / Historical

The Beiderbecke and Miller Wholesale Grocers was established in 1856. This February 1883 receipt lists the owners as Charles B. Beiderbecke and Frank H. Miller and the business location as Nos. 107 and 109 West Second Street. One spotted tail was purchased for $10.80 by Geo. Steckler & Sons or Geo. Stuhler & Sons. Neither of these surnames were found in the 1883-1885 Davenport City Directories.
