Biographical / Historical

Crook Brothers Laundry was located at 219-221 East Third Street in Davenport, Iowa. Their 1912 Davenport city directory listing states the president is Lester J. Crook and secretary/treasurer is Rolland W. Crook.

Organized in 1892, the Crook brothers worked together in the laundry business successfully until Rolland's death in 1939. Lester retired in 1942, selling the business to D.N. Richardson and H.L. Lane. Lester died in 1949.
