Biographical / Historical
The Rock Island County Historical Society, located in Moline, IL, is a local organization dedicated to studying and preserving the history of Rock Island County, Illinois. The Historical Society fosters an appreciation of the past, with an emphasis on local history. In addition to collecting and preserving historical artifacts, photographs, and personal stories, the Historical Society conducts research into local Rock Island County families and businesses, which they present to the public through exhibits. The Historical Society also provides public historical records.
