Dr. Herald W. Greene Family Collection
Scope and Contents
Newspaper clippings, photographs, letters documenting this family; Dr. Greene was a dentist by profession; much of the information revolves around son, Herald Taylor "Skippy", and his school activities including baseball and basketball at Davenport High School Class of 1947 and University of Iowa 1951.
The newspaper items are in terrible condition. The images and other paper items such as programs, etc. are fair.
One highlight is the June 1940 Shriner's Baseball School and Jamboree at Municipal Stadium with Chief Instructor Babe Ruth.
