Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a panoramic birdseye view of Davenport by J. B. Hostetler may be original print in new matte and frame. Shows buildings between Government Bridge and Centennial Bridge west to east, and tops of 6th Street buildings to river with Rock Island riverfront in the distance. The estimated date of the photographic image is 1915.
Additionally, the collection contains of scans of ten glass negatives showing Moline vs. Rock Island playing football in 1915 per writing on two negatives. One group of males and females dressed in costumes. Rest teen males in various scenes, some athletic. The images are assumed to be Rock Island High School.
