August Reimers, candy manufacturer and his wife, Mary (SCHMIDT) REIMERS. Same image of him appears in Biographical History of Scott County, Iowa, published 1895. Reimers married Mary Schmidt (second wife) at Muscatine, Iowa on 20 Oct 1879. She died 25 May 1892. Based on her hairstyle and the date she died, believe images ca 1890.
