This collection consists of a victorian photograph album received as a gift by Marth Blackburn in 1888. It includes cabinet cards, carte de visites, tintypes of DeWitt, Iowa families of Blackburn, Carson, Clark, Dunnen, Graves, and Williams and Clinton, Iowa families of White and Peoples. Smith Studio of DeWitt is attributed to taking these images.

Scope and Contents This is a printed paper pertaining to an immigrant from Schleswig-Holstein to Scott County, Iowa named Johann Friedrich Christian Schmidt. The article is entirely in German and is titled "Nach Iowa! Auswanderer aus dem Danischen Wohld in den Jahren 1845 und 1847".
