George Washington forgeries; Revolutionary War era currency
This collection contains original Davenport Public Library items loaned that were out on loan. They include George Washington documents such as an authorization for discharge from military custody of one Milton Edmondson, June 1, 1781, a permission to a Mr. John Edwards with his negro boy Jack to pass and repass the picket at Rampo, September 9, 1780, two shillings #4988 dated March 20, 1777, and eight dollars #133101 dated August 14, 1776.
